Text: Acts 6:1-15

Do you consider yourself ordinary?

The people in Acts 6 did.  But when these everyday people moved in sync with the Holy Spirit, the cumulative impact changed their generation, and many to come. In the midst of a spiritually synchronistic culture, the healthy early church was made up of ordinary people, like you and me, who pursued a deep faith in Jesus, listened to the Holy Spirit, and progressively stepped up their commitment to ACT on love-assignments from God.

What is a God-given love-assignment? 

How do I know if a love-assignment is from God rather than simply my own bright idea? 

How do I discover my God-assignments?

What do I do if I don’t feel adequate or capable of something I sense God is asking of me? (fyi-we rarely do)
