Saturday 10 December – Sock It To Em

Hand-decorated Christmas cards with personal notes were attached to wrapped gifts given to East County’s homeless on Saturday, December 10. There were over 600 hats, scarves, gloves, socks and coats distributed through Sock It To ‘EM. A huge thank you to all who gave so generously from their heart. From the young children decorating the cards to the middle & high schoolers wrapping the gifts to the adults donating the much-needed supplies…we could not have blessed so many without you!

Friday September 2

Back To School With Backpack Attack

On September 2, because of Radiant Church members’ generosity, we delivered 20 backpacks to Centennial Middle School. Principal Doug Cook and his staff greeted us enthusiastically and could be heard saying, “WOW! This is amazing.” “You got to be kidding me!” “New backpacks all completely filled with school supplies?!” Needless to say, our donation of 20 backpacks was well received and deeply appreciated. Thank you Radiant Church for making this local outreach possible and a huge success.

Friday August 5    

THIS MONTH‘S SUMMER SENSATION WAS A FREE FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT AT GRESHAM PERFORMAING ARTS CENTER PLAZA.

It was a lovely summer evening of family- fun, music, free  popcorn and drinks. We watched the evening’s movie with  a cool breeze under the stars. Because of the crowd we may have not seen you, but we hope your family had a great time. This community event continues throughout August. See www.picturesinthepark.com for details.

Saturday July 2

The July Summer Sensation event was Sizzle Your Feet and Sizzle Your Seat held on July 2. With clear blue skies and warm temperatures, it was one of our better weather days this summer.

Families came out to walk the Springwater Trail while other families came to ride. Special thanks goes out to Shiloh Cyclery. Shop owner Brad Delzer was on-site to give bikes a free tune-up. A great morning all around and everyone had a great time.

Mark your calendar for our next Summer Sensation. The entire family is invited to Pictures in the Park on Friday, August 5 at Gresham Main City Park. Grab a blanket or lawn chairs and join us as we watch a family-friendly movie under the stars.

Saturday June 4

Special Thanks to Brad Wright and Wendy Dunn plus all the others who helped launch Radiant’s first Summer Sensation on Saturday, June 4th. We picked up trash on the Centennial Middle School grounds.
